Boris Shapiro
Boris Shapiro focuses his practice in the areas of Labor and Employment, including litigation and counseling. Boris joined AMMM in June 2018 after working for 6 years in the Employment & Civil Rights Defense Practice Group of a prestigious mid-size law firm, where he was distinguished for his excellent work and zealous representation of government entities in all aspects of employment litigation, including compliance with anti-discrimination, whistle blowing, and civil rights laws. Prior thereto, Boris completed a two-year judicial clerkship at the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law (OAL), where he attended administrative hearings, performed legal research, and drafted advisory memoranda for Administrative Law Judges.
Boris graduated from Rutgers Law School with Honors. During law school, Boris participated in the Hunter Moot Court Competition, where he was distinguished as a Top 10 Advocate. Additionally, Boris served as an Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. In his final year of school, Boris provided pro bono representation to juveniles as part of the Children’s Justice Clinic and authored a published note addressing intellectual property rights.
Boris is an avid fan of the New Jersey Devils and plays hockey during his free time.
